OSC at Open Source Search, Cambridge

Flax are sponsoring Open Source Search Cambridge 2009, a free event on 29th September that offers a chance to hear informal presentations from users and developers of open source search systems.

Geoff Gardiner of the Open Source Consortium has been given an opportunity to speak to the attendees about the OSC. Currently around 30 attendees are registered from the UK and mainland Europe, representing around 15 companies plus some universities.

A handful of places remain (at the time of writing) for any and all members of the open source search communities to register. Details of the event are here.

I hope the conference in Cambridge goes well, good to see it is keeping close to open source tradition by remaining free.
