OU, again

Credit where credit is due. The Open University is offering a course about Linux (see T155 - Linux: an introduction).

Following our criticism of the Open University regarding its decision to promote Microsoft Office 2007 (see OU and MS Office 2007) and the puzzlement that the OU and the Open Source community "would get on like a house on fire" but don't (see University challenged to ditch Microsoft) we would just like to congratulate the OU and wish them every success.

We look forward to them expanding their range of options and still hope that they might go cold turkey and make all their courses compatible with software that runs on Linux. (We still think OUnix is a good name for their own distro.)
